On a trip we did up north to visit relatives, we went through the Yorkshire Moors and to a lovely part of the coast north of Scarborough.  We stayed in Newark-on-Trent and it was a balmy 20 degrees celsius (the warmest we've been yet - Julie even took off her jacket and gloves!!!!!!).
