Not a bad view from a "free" room!

This is the pool - Julie and friends spent a lot of time just lazing around in the warm sunshine
racking up huge bar bills with cocktails!
|

Behind the pool, across the lake was the golf course. If you like golf - What a place to stay?!
|

The hotel was filled with Indian Sculptures. This one is my favourite.

A successful take-off and landing for a brilliant flight over the Grand Canyon. The trip took 1½
hours and it is too bad the sun was in the wrong place and there was some haze in the air as the photos do
not do the Canyon justice. It is a bloody big hole in the ground!!!

Montezuma's Castle is located on the bank of Oak Creek near Camp Verde, which is southeast of Sedona.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Montezuma as it was built by the Sinagua people over 600 years ago.
The official website is here.
A lovely area to walk and one of the local inhabitants you may find whilst walking!! If you read the
description, they are more scared of you than vice versa!

The Sedona area is known as "Red Rock Country - Quite apt when you look at these photos. It is
the only place in the world where McDonalds do not have "Golden" arches, but "Teal" because
the council has said all the new buildings must complement the local area in colour and style. I bought
a Dirt Shirt that is dyed with the red dirt of Sedona. You can buy them from here.

I couldn't help taking a shot of a low flying jet, but the main reason was the sky colour! There were very
few cloudy days. Simply stunning...
